Katy knocks out Ethan's other tooth!

While packing up the van after a big trip to Costco, Ethan and Katy were horsing around by the van. Katy knocked out Ethan's tooth. I didn't even know that he had a loose tooth. I asked Ethan if that was a baby tooth or an adult tooth. He said that it was a baby tooth. I hope so . . .

This, by the way, was the second time this happened. The other time Katy karate chopped Ethan's face or something like that, and caused that tooth to come flying out as well.

Tone's Birthday Celebration

Tone celebrated her birthday with the family. We all headed out to Golden Corral for a smorgasbord. Happy Birthday Tone!

we love tomatoes

The cherry tomato plant is taking over the fence. Here Katy and our friend Paige is picking tomatoes. Paige gobbles them up by the bowlful. She is welcome anytime to pick from our plant. Who knew one plant could grow so big?!

Logan's first day of kindergarten

Oh yes, the traditional first day of school picture! Here is Logan ready for the next big phase in his life. He picked out his own backpack. It is clear with spiderman on it. He loves his army shorts. He is learning so much everyday. Go Logan!

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth

What is more handsome than a six year old with missing teeth and one shut eye? Ethan had a teeny tiny eensy speck of dust in his eye that hurt sooooooooooo badly that we took him to urgent care. The doctor flipped his eyelid and found the culprit under the upper lid. It was very small but it scratched his cornea. The doctor put fluorescein drops in his eyes that turned them into greenish-yellowish glowing super bad guy eyes. Just kidding. They were glowing and the doctor said it makes mommies scared, but I thought it was pretty cool and thought we should grab a mirror right away so that Ethan could see also. Ethan agreed- it was very cool. (The bill was not so cool. Thank goodness for health insurance)
